Hornby Thompson ‘L1′ arrives

Hornby’s all new model of the Thompson ‘L1′ 2-6-4T has now arrived with the LNER apple green and British Railways apple green versions being the first to reach the shops. First samples of Hattons’ LMS diesels set for Warley

Hattons of Liverpool says it hopes to show the first approved samples of its forthcoming London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMS) diesels 10000/01 in ‘OO’ gauge (in conjunction with Dapol) at the Warley Model Railway Exhibition on November 20-21, with Richard Davies making the lengthy trip to Hong Kong to collect them in early November.

Olivia’s EM1 set for Spring 2011 delivery

A ‘ROD’ for the Western

Great Western Railway (GWR) and British Rail Western Region modellers have persuaded Bachmann to produce its popular ex-Great Central Railway ‘O4′ 2-8-0 in the ‘30XX’ guise. Bachmann’s long planned ‘OO’ Blue Pullman

Bachmann has revealed that it will produce a ‘OO’ gauge model of the iconic Blue Pullman train representing the six-car Midland Pullman sets. The model was announced in July at its annual open day and is expected to be released in October 2011 at a cost of £300-£350.
